A Proud Achievement at the Kocaeli University Student Research Congress
At the Kocaeli University Student Research Congress held on 6–7 May 2026, our physiotherapy program students achieved a significant success.
Their presentation titled “The Relationship Between University Students’ Digital Addiction and Attitudes Toward Physical Activity” earned second place in the Best Oral Presentation category in the field of health sciences. The study was presented by physiotherapy students Leman İlgin, Esra Nur Türkmen, Niran Güneş Aslan, and Buse Yener.
Supervised by Lecturer Dr. Meryem Sevim, the research addresses an important and contemporary issue by examining the relationship between digital addiction and attitudes toward physical activity among university students. The study was highly appreciated by the congress evaluation committee for both its scientific content and effective presentation.
We congratulate our physiotherapy students and their advisor Lecturer Dr. Meryem Sevim on this meaningful achievement and wish them continued success in their academic work.
